FS: 93 RX7 Touring VA 20176 $10,500
1993 Mazda RX7
Red, 129K miles This car sat in a trailer for 8+ years. I recently acquired it & returned it to running condition. Passed VA inspection and emissions. Chassis has 129K miles. previous owner stated it had an engine replacement at 90K but no paperwork to substantiate that. I have no reason to doubt it as the engine runs perfectly and pulls like a freight train. It is very original with out additions of dodgy wiring or gauges etc. No bad mods to undo. Original twin turbo setup Clean car fax ( I can provide a scanned copy if need be) Over $5000 in receipts rejuvenating the mechanicals of this car including: all fluids flush (engine, trans, diff, brake fluid) new oil & fuel filters K&N air filter new AC/Alternator/PS belts new rotors and pads all round (Mazda OEM) New rebuilt front calipers New AC compressor and recharge (runs really cold!) New high flow stainless steel CAT & cat back exhaust system and freash gaskets. fresh intake gasket. New tires on original rims (still in nice condition) Magnecore plug wires and fresh plugs bubble tech drivers door storage lid ($105 for a piece of plastic!!!) new floor mats Additionally the car has: Koni adjustable shocks. Not clear if the springs are uprated but it handles extremely well) Braided steel brake lines To do: vacuum line replacement and zip ties (included in sale but not installed) Interior is nice and correct with no tears in the seats, all the buttons work even the original Bose radio. the Gauge cluster has been replaced and show 44K miles, this still has an intermittent tach issue though so it needs some troubleshooting. Paint is average to poor. clear coat is peeling on rear bumper, hood is scratched and stone chips are consistent with vehicle age.. the luster came back a little and its "good for 20 feet" Still no major issues or rust. All in all a good driver with potential to be a nice original collectable example with some care and attention.
