FS: 1991 S5 T2, $6,500, Rochester NY 14620
Hi everyone,
It's been a long time since I've posted here because I have been out of the country for a long time. Now I am back and it will involve the sale of my T2. It has around 85,000 miles, I am the 4th owner and used it only for autocross and the occasional weekend cruise. It has minimal rust, original paint and a few interior and suspension modifications. For everything that I've done, there are also accompanying receipts that I can make available. KNOWN PROBLEMS - Power steering rack inner seal leak (I've disconnected it so it is a hard-turning manual steering rack now) - Some rust at original battery location - Rust hole underneath passenger seat - Cabin light needs resoldering (has a tendency to blink/fizz) - Hole where rear antenna used to be (Patched with tape for now) - Air conditioning doesn't work (never bothered charging it) - Fog lights don't work (also disconnected) - Front left fender has a dent just in front of the well wheel (no frame damage underneath) MODIFICATIONS SUSPENSION - S4 front control arms w/ new Mazdaspeed bushings - Non-ABS front knuckles w/ powder coating - SuperNow lightened & redrilled hubs w/ new wheel bearings - Larger cotter pins for front hubs - ARP lug bolts all around - Gorilla lug nuts all around - Bump-steer correction links - Tie-rods for increased steering angle - Custom valved AWR Bilstein shocks all around - Front AWR camber/caster plates - Front helper springs - Hypercoil springs all around - Rear adjustable camber link - Rear adjustable dogbone camber links - DTSS removed (MMR delrin bushings) - New rear bushings and bearings all around (OEM) - New hub bearings - Subframe and trailing arms sandblasted and powder coated BRAKES - 929 master cylinder - Repainted brake booster (brake paint) - Complete ABS removal (brackets, pump, computer, wires, etc.) - Cunifer hard lines all around - Custom brake mounting solution - Rebuilt and repainted brake calipers - Corksport SS flex lines all around - Custom front flex line to hard line bracket DRIVETRAIN - Exedy street clutch installed - Racing Beat lightweight steel flywheel - New clutch hydraulics (master & slave) - Corksport SS clutch line - Cunifer clutch hard line - Rebuilt transmission (Cryogenically treated) - Torsen differential from JDM Infini model w/ S4 T2 stub shafts - All new Mazdaspeed mounts (transmission, differential) - Pinion snubber for differential ENGINE AND AUXILLARY PARTS - Koyo N-flow radiator - New ignition wires - New spark plugs - Black silicone radiator hoses - Viton vacuum hose to FCD - Airpump removed - New Mazdaspeed engine mounts - Bonez Hi-Flow catalytic converter ELECTRONICS - Battery relocated to passenger side storage bin - Odyssey PC920 AGM battery - Custom mounting w/ disconnect - Stereo system removed - Broken antenna removed INTERIOR - Rebuilt wiper switch - Replaced broken driver's side door lock - Replaced broken plastics (front demister grills, triangle vent) - 9000rpm tachometer from NA S5 - Replaced boost gauge w/ voltmeter - Raised accelerator pedal height by 1/4" - Removed broken autobelt system (rails, computers, mounting tabs, etc.) - 10AE black manual seatbelts - New seatbelt stoppers - Black S4 seatbelt trim (A & B pillars, headliner) - Works Bell quick release - MOMO steering wheel - RedlineGoods leather (shift & Hand brake boot, center console lid) - Mazdaspeed shift knob - Flocked parts (Glove box inside lid, center console, coin holder) - S4 type armrest - New custom floor mats (Black RX7 logo) - Glass Finishline sunroof I can be flexible on the price. Good luck. Hopefully somebody at the festival will be looking for one. It is too nice to see it cut up for a drift car.
