So for those of use caravaning up from Columbia, do you think it would be possible to get to Asheville around 9? The Carolina Mazdas group is going to be there before they head off to the Dragon. I was hoping to meet up with them for a bit on Friday night.

We will more than likely caravan up with you guys if its alright.
What time are you still looking at leaving Columbia?
Our biggest issue is when we both get off of work and grab our things.
Also a friend should be meeting us here as well. I'm sure if I look back through post history I could figure out all of this but I am sleepy and headed to bed. Is everyone meeting at your house?

yes! floor space for anyone who needs it...possibly a bed and futon for those willing to fight for it! or set your tent in the back yard...but no reason to spend $$ for friday night...

i think 3-4 people in the convoy have my cell # so you can call me when you get close (most likely around Hendersonville, NC exit 49 a/b on I-26)

i would like to throw out the idea that we possibly role out to the local cruising strip and see how it is going that night...it has been dead the past 2-3 fridays because of the drop in temps, but maybe it will start to pick back up. if not, we can hit denny's for food or head back to the house and waste time until sleep. or i can show a few of the nice local roads to play on =]

great...accuweather.com is saying asheville can expect rain on saturday =[ starting friday night and clearing up sat evening...WTF!!!

oh well, have to see how it goes and how much of WNC it wants to rain on.
