Just to add for you Mototek I am sure if you pick up a sample kit there wont be any fitment uses that a body shop would not be able to easily adjust while its on your car... The JKL guys are just goin above and beyond by taking the head ache out of it having to be modified like any other kit you might buy so it can basically be a paint and bolt on kit. Which in my opinion is pretty freaking bad ass. They are not only going to adjust the old ones for better fitment but are making it Flexible which none of the RE stuff is which will make it less prone to cracking... So even the sample kit you would be getting is still a step up from the original RE stuff because it will be flexible. Im going to be jealous if you get a kit before me

Yea, I'm really stoked, the car is "vintage red" right now, and we're painting it "triple black". It's going to look mean. JKL I appreciate the emails, this is something I'm going to be picking up next week/the week after the latest, so I should be the first? lol I wish I could have waited a little longer, but certain things came up that made the car needing to get finished asap.
As far as it needing a little more body work that's completely fine, I'm going for a show car look so the lines with be scrutinized thoroughly. I totally agree CarbonFD they are duing a great service to us FD owners that have been drooling over this kit for years. JKL as far as "the other people" I'm going to check what material is being used, your guys product sounds like what I'm looking for. What do you guys thinks about the Work VS-XX's. Should I get silver or black?

Hey Kevin,
I guess I'm going to wait the 5 weeks to get a kit I won't have to do any work on. I do have some questions however: +When do we find out our savings on early deposits? +Are the pieces coming primerd already? +Do you guys accept any other form of payment? I'd not like to waist a hundred and some odd dollars on paypal fees when I can send you guys a check and wait for it to clear. This is what I'm looking for, I don't need the extra lil canards and stuff right now. Front and Rear Fenders, Side Steps, Front bumper, CF Undersweep, CF Hood. What would grand total be on that since there's not a package price for it.

Im running 18x10 in the tront +35 offset and in the rear im running 18x10.5 with a +15 offset... I could fit more in the back with the right off set but they don't make my rims any wider than that. I went for weight instead of size my rims are only 18lbs at that size.

Update:
Right now, the factory is finishing up the last couple molds and starting the production on the sample parts. Since some customers have mentioned that they prefer the front fenders with the gaps, here is the current status. Our mold does not have the gap yet since the original RE-A kit does not have the gap. The factory will need at least 15-20 days to modify the mold to obtain the gap. What I mean by modify is they will have to produce a set of sampling fenders with the current mold then modify the sampling fenders to obtain the gaps then make another set of molds out of the newly modified fenders. This is to ensure the quality of the modification. So we would like to get some opinions from our customers and see if you guys still want the gap. If so, then the whole process will have to be delayed by at least 15-20 days. Please let us know what everyone thinks! Thanks!

I dont think after waiting for so long 15-20 days is very much to ensure the quality of the product and it is to the exact liking of each buyer. I have a question though... Once they do that will they have to make a new mold? So in reality you could choose if you wanted gapped of un-gapped?

yes, that way there will be two options. But we prefer to only supply the un-gapped original version if not majority of the people want the gapped version. It's because the time, work, and cost. Since the fenders come in pair, we will have to produce two new molds instead of just one. So the cost of the two new molds will have to be covered somehow so that will affect the amount of additional discount we can offer as we promised. Again, it's all up to you guys.
