lulz @ ted being a dick, but he's completely right. Quote:
why? OP said he is trying to do stuff on the cheap. those ID injectors are far from cheap. Quote:
i'm with ted. save up a little cash and do it right, or don't do it. "cheap" is usually not successful unless you understand ever facet and possible shortcoming of what you're attempting. Last edited by jacobcartmill; 04-09-2012 at 12:19 PM.

Ted is a mod. He also likes to harass noobs. Kind of a conflict of interest to me. Ted does possess a lot of good information, it is just the delivery that is an issue. So, Vincent, in the User Control Panel, just add Ted to your ignore list and you will be fine

So, you guys have fun and take care. Maybe in the future the powers that be will be a little more selective about who they give "mod" status too. For me, moderators are people who represent the site and are what gives the site their reputation. They are supposed to be knowledgeable and respectful to EVERYONE, regardless of how "newb" they are. I don't care how smart Ted is or what all he has done for the rotary community-none of that will ever "right" his horrible attitude towards me and others. See ya.

GTFO troll. ID injectors are not expensive for what you get. Do it once, or do it twice and spend double the money. And sorry, 2 just because Robert is a damn slacker. Lol. I could say three since Paul used to have one. And E85 is inconsistent in the blend. Look it up. Matt's car with the parallel set up is fine, but for most, just switching to E85 is going to be a headache, and cost a lot more. So GTFO until you buy another rotary.

Ouch... lol I'm only 50% slacker, 75% poor, and 29% bad at percentages. E85 is a bit inconsistent, but it also provides a decent margin of error no matter what the exact mix is. I plan on running it, with or without parallel lines (not sure how that would make a difference in consistency though?).

But I know there are E85 leghumpers and E85 haters. I am not a hater, Matt's car is proof that it makes power, I just am not sold on it.

GTFO? that's not very nice. rotary or not, i would say i'm just as qualified to post on this subject as you are. we both have real world experience with e85, aftermarket turbos, Haltech EMS, and Injector Dynamics fuel injectors, right? i was not telling the OP whether or not to run E85, just questioning you, as you seem to have experience with its consistency. also, robert is exactly right about the safety margin being higher to begin with (you may have trouble googling that one) Last edited by jacobcartmill; 04-09-2012 at 01:48 PM.

Nope, but I can read. Which means I don't have to deal with consistency.
