Worse: Sitting in traffic on I-81 for almost 4 hrs on the trip down Thursday night. A tornado took out a truck stop and dumped trailers all over the interstate. Best: Riding with a bunch a cool FD's. It was good to see the other 20b's and meeting folks I had only talked to on the forum.

The good..riding with the "porsche guy" and got pulled over and BS his way out of a ticket, also the drive was fantastic on Friday morning to and from Skyway, Last but not least, winning 1st place in old school class. The bad..I hate MINIs ...especially after this trip

The whole trip was awesome for me. I have NEVER seen so many rotaries in my life, it was fantastic! Here in Jacksonville it is just a sea of riced out Civics.. I was absolutely amazed at how awesome everyone was. There was not a single rude person in the group. I have been to car meets were I felt uncomfortable the entire time cause everyone was in their own little group, but everyone at DGRR was completely approachable. Another thing that impressed me were the older rotor heads. It was great to meet gentlemen my grandfathers age that still cared about their cars, and were involved in the rotary community. Meeting guys who bought their first gens brand new, still had them, and maintained and improved them for over 30 years, is absolutely amazing to me. And of course there are the roads. I live in Florida, were every road is straight and long, and ruled by wanna be drag racers. The dragon was severely intense, though I thought the skyway proved to be just as fun. I was finally able to use all the skills I learned dodging cones on a real road. They especially came in handy when I half slid off the road after hitting gravel on moonshiner 28. But even that was a blast! The only bad thing I can think of for the whole weekend it that I live 8 hours away from it. I want to go for a drive now, and wish it was just 30 minutes away...

Hey thats cool man, I'm just glad you guys got there safely. We should definitely get some kind of rotary meet together over here regularly. Since there seems to be more activity in Gainsville than Jax, I have no problem driving down.

Good - Seeing that there was no accidents at DGRR.... seeing new faces and talking with the old. Bad - Being sick, no car to really drive around for the 4th year... sucks!

Good - knowing that everyone had a great time and that we still have new people coming to DGRR every year Bad - trying to cram all those damn cars in such a small parking lot for the car show

Good- car ran good, no broken or damaged parts. All around a nice drive with great people. Bad- I'm still kicking myself for it not jumping in the caravan for the Mitty I thought about it the whole weekend but decided against it. Next year however I'm definitely going to both.

The good: The Rx-4 made the trip and I could actually push it pretty hard around the gap! I had the front brakes smoking at the lookout at one point. The bad: Taking the Rx-4 on the trip. No cruise control, LOUD exhaust, 4 speed transmission, 4000 RPM for endless hours on the interstate equals I'M HEARING IMPAIRED!
