Oppinions, Well boys I`ve already did this, Not hard at all. Use a stand-a-lone, by all means use a T2 tranny, You need to have some good basic mechanical skills, If you don`t have understanding of basic electrical, Then you need to pay someone who does to do this conversion, I ran the twins at first, Then went single, Now am going against the grain with a LSX. I have a thread of parts for sale here and on ther other forum. I`ll even sell you the already made subframe to mount a FD engine into a FC using FD stock mount configuration. And the FC tranny is in its stock position, No vibrations and stupid things related to a improper aglinment. Of the drivetrain. P.M. me if you like for more info. I wont just be looking for this threads growth. Louis

I did it back in 2003.

You can use the stock FD mounting points and make an adapter to mount it to the stock FC mounts.

If you are hellbent on using the stick serpentine belt with the FD cover then you have to revise the coolant lines to match an FC radiator.

I went single, too juch headache trying to make the twins work, I first went with a T04E then a GT35R, the later dropped my spool down and increased my WHP by about 80.

Run a Haltech, Megasquirt, Motec etc... and save yourself the trouble.
