It's almost like it just has corrosion in there or something.

9. I also forgot I want to get some strut bar spacers made so I can get rid of the washers.

I had the same problem on mine while on the epic road adventure. It wasn't un-plugged, it was just plain worn out. Sucked, on day 2 I was in the parking lot of a wal-mart tearing the dash apart so I could wire in a external plug to charge my phone. I guess I should mount and more permanently wire that thing, zip tie mounting isn't really my thing

That'd be bitching. But you should be able to make that yourself no? Plate of AL, a sharpie, jigsaw, drill and a file and maybe an hr of time?

I think I remember you telling me about that. Don't knock the zip ties just yet, let it grow on you. LOL

I could make it and I like making my own stuff, but I don't have a jigsaw and the LIM spacers came out looking so good from the waterjet that I wanted to hump them. I'm not sure how much it would cost but I figure once they are made I could offer them to the forum too since I'm sure I'm not the only one needing them, and people could pick what thickness they want. And if I made the spacers they would look like crap, I'm kinda trying to get away from that these days.

Please elaborate, please let it be of the rotary variety, or maybe an old Datsun at least.

Maybe when I get my 19" WIDE rims and keep my 255 tires I'll start rocking the zipties

It's amazing what a file and some time will do to clean things up. Although, if you have access to a waterjet guy local, that's tits. *sigh* Todd is so far away, and I should probably get hopin' on those parts for the rear speed sensors.

0. Reserve a hotel room. The cabin we wanted isnt NVNC's any longer.
1. Replace 4 of the tires on the Dually
2. replace front wheelbearings on Dually

3. Change rear on race car to 444.
4. Repair rust spot near decklid on race car.
5. sand/prime/repaint race car.

6. clean up and box up old school exotic 13B based race engine

7. touch up scratch on wife's RX8

Not too bad a list.

I guess I need to basically start from the ground up. Make a car that hasn't been on the road since 2002 road worthy.

So with the Cosmo-
-check condition of engine (replace/rebuild as necessary)
-swap FB front spindles/struts
-swap FB brake master cylinder/booster
-rear wheel adapters
-wheels(??)
-RE-Speed TII front brake conversion
-reassemble interior
-finish body work/paint
-stereo install

Damn, I better get to work.

if i can get the FC up and running in a manner that i feel comfortable taking it to Deal's Gap, then i'd be mighty satisfied. i won't say anything above and beyond that simply because that would be unrealistic of me. between the weather and funds, it's an uphill battle just getting it mobile as it is.

Alright, here goes my list for the Rx-4:
-GSL-SE rear axle, front suspension, and brake swap
-paint and polish my old school Riken meshies, mount some new rubber on them
-weber is already sent out to be rebuilt along with new taller velocity stacks and mesh air cleaners
-clean up the engine bay
-fix a few electrical gremlins....
-rethink the ignition system
-install some sort of electric or belt driven vacuum booster

I think that's it............
