Me and a sports bike almost traded paint near the beginning of the dragon. I was taking a right hand curve right after a left and he was leaning toward my side of the road and he came CLOSE. He had like 3 other bikes behind him too. I wish I had my gopro camera on that time. That would be interesting to see.

My Volvo is AWD
My Volvo is a 4.4L V8

RX-8's had nothing in the corners on me, and I own an RX-8

Wanna race!

2000 Lincoln LS V8 0-60 time 7.5sec (I don't think Chris' is a V8)
2007 Volvo S80 V8 0-60 time 6.0sec

Just stating facts. Now the Lincoln is based on a Jaguar platform, which is also what the newer Thunderbirds were based on. The RWD is a benefit to the Lincoln. My Volvo is a FWD based AWD using a Haldex system, at full split it will run 35% front, 65% rear. Problem is that I cannot completely disable the DSTC, turning it off only removes the braking and engine retard function. Yaw control and wheel spin control are still fully operational, which can get in the way. Try as I might I could not get it to sidestep, even a little. In an empty parking lot thought.....AWD burnout are possible.....and quite fun!

But it doesn't really matter in the end. I have never been on a race track. I'm a Dragon tamer.

Saw quite a few rotories crossing the double yellow this year. In one day, making only one pass on the Dragon, I had to make room for six people who felt the need to borrow some real estate from my lane. It wasn't that bad last year, so maybe people were thinking this was a "closed course" type of even since there were gates at the entrance.

Anyway, it was pretty disappointing to see. But at least nobody got hurt...

I really see no need to cross that line ever.

My first dragon experience was almost ended by someone crossing the line - on my first run ever nonetheless.

Its a road. There's other cars and bikes. No one is awarding prizes for "biggest hero". Only prizes they give out come from THP's.............there's no excuse to cross the line aside from being a tard. If you can't drive at a fun speed within your own lane, then I really don't know what to say.

Buggy and I were rookies this year, it was almost our last as well. Red heritage f150 was pretty much in our lane coming around a blind corner (luckily the shoulder was paved)....not quite sure why anyone would want to take a f150 on the dragon...
