sorry BUT the SR20 isnt what it's cracked up to be....

I have a buddy that has gone thru 5 SR20 motors and I have yet to blow any Rotary that I have built... ANd yes...I run my Rotary's real hard....

The same can be said for any motor. It all depends on the people that run them. If your buddy went through 5 motors I would think he was doing something very wrong. There are plenty of people that have made good reliable horsepower on sr20's because they do it right.

Any ideas on what happened? That housing looks insane, I have rarely seen both housings and rotors get trashed.

As far as sr's go, I love them for daily driver engines. My sr got 32mpg, but I would never use one to try and make horse power. I think the rotary is easier and cheaper to make power, along with having more displacement.
