bah you dont need towing.. ive put about 10000 miles/year on my RX-7's over the past 5-6 years, multiple road trips including deals gap for 4 years (6 hr drive for me) and never once have been stranded.

besides there will be hundreds of rotorheads to help you out, just bring a few extra parts and basic tools in case. I will probably be bringing extra intercooler couplers (blew one last year), belts, heater hose, spark plugs, fuses, electrical tape, etc. you would be surprised what electrical tape can fix haha

on one of our local meets runs, a buddy's t-stat neck blew up and we patched it back together with super glue and electrical tape.. he made the 4 hour trip back home no problems

and bring basic tools like an adjustable wrench, basic metric socket set, pliers, wire cutters/strippers, flashlight, batteries, etc

Good stuff! Funny that there's an Advance Auto down the road, DGRR probably screws up their numbers for the month . We ought to call ahead and tell them to stock up on BUR9EQ's and premix .

*everyone* needs one of those. Me especially. Been contemplating buying one while I'm down but the timing of money is not ideal......temptation may get the better of me though!

EDIT: Just read the other posts - I'd be in at $265 if you can make it happen!!!

lol...every car I owned had stranded me in one way or the other, including 5 of my bmws, all with cooling issues, my FD stranded me 3 times, 2 times at the track and 1 time was because I ran out of fuel, forgot I had the 1600ccs!! But anywho, i hope the rx-3 will do me good for once, but you never know and can never be too safe. After all, its a 35+ yr machine and technology!! lol
