I am thinking a bone stock renisis with the 6spd would be perfect in that car i have already started measuring.
If you're going to do all that, then I would recommend an 09+ engine / trans swap. Should hold up better anyway. I just already have an extra 04~08 engine, so that's the only reason I'm, not buying an 09 to do the transplant.

i would but i will probably get a front clip off a totalled car so i have all the parts i will need i will essentially put it in using the drive by wire and the cluster to save money nothing fancy.

That's cool. I've been trying to figure out how I'm going to put it in the 7... I don't think it can run the factory RX7 gauge cluster, so I may have to do something similar to you and use the cluster and everything. yay for custom fiberglass work...

no, currently the GT-K is not configurable so u have to buy one off the shelf with what ever specs they make. I custom ordered mine it is a turbonetics 62-1 with a .81 ar ratio and ceramic ball bearings. if i had bought the standard 62-1 it would have be a 1.10 ar ratio.

I got the same turbo in my fb. its not the BB though and yet it spools up hard by 4000 to the point that the rear kicks out in a straight line drift!! u gotta love that solid diff in the fb! i can only imagine with the BB it spool sup even faster then!!
