This is why I think I will stick to old school from now on. The young kids don't like them, so they ignore you.

Or they don't know what it is because it isn't a Civic or 240.
I agree for sure, but at the same time, a lot of the problem is the promoters themselves not setting the example, and or doing their job in maintaining order at the events.

I'm not interested in the young kids drama either, but I do like to look at some of the cars etc.

Brent,
Yea, it's been a while since we had regular meets... I remember how intimidated I felt the first couple meets I went to though. Good times. Hard to believe how long ago that was. Our local group seems to be slowly disintegration. At least that's what it feels like.

We haven't been very active lately, but in the summer there's a rotary meet every Friday night at Belk's. It's really cool too because there's about 400 spectators with their cars there that come out just to see us. I guess we'll have to schedule something soon.

I like what you did there.

I have been out of it since I have a baby. But he is getting older, and I will have more time soon. I still come out when I can, or when I'm invited...

Yeah, it is always strange coming into a group you only know through the internet.

I think the group is just changing. I remember meets 10 years ago(we use to play Sega Super GT at the arcade). Very few of those guys are still around. Core group is still there though.

The cruise in's are always alot of fun. Didn't make it to any this year though unfortunately. My gf's dad goes out to them most of the time. He has a bunch of 60's mustangs.

Yes. It was ok. I received an email from Mazda about parking my Mazda with the Mazda club as I suspect other Mazda Motorsports members did as well.

I know im kinda late in responding, but the auto show sucked. I could have test driven all the cars ive seen. Good thing I got free tickets or it would have been a waste of money.

why dont someone set up a meet for a eat out like we use to do at TGI Fridays on Thursdays?

Toss out a date, time, location and im sure a few will show.
Never gonna be able to make it convenient for all that is why I was trying to do it every month.

And yes, the old meets 10+ years ago were different and small. Rob, Carson, Vince, Vinny, Trevor, Roger were a bit more into the scene.

Anybody know of who drives a black s5 in the cookville area with what looked like silver advanced wheels? I spotted it right next to TTU.

That is what I was going to say!

I thought you said a few months ago that the move was off?
