Quite the Weekend
So I've had an interesting weekend, and it looks like I won't make it to any more local events this year.
I went to Lake Louise, Alberta to go whitewater rafting. Right as you go into the 'town' they've put in some 'texas gates' or some such thing. They haven't quite finish it yet, and there was a 4 inch dip on either side of it, with only a little tiny sign that says 'bump.' I hit that pretty hard, as I was more concerned with looking around for the hotel than I was for road construction. Anyways, it must have knocked something out of kilter, because the next morning we were driving to the river base, and as I went to merge onto the Trans Canada the car leaned right out and detonated hard. I pulled off the injector clips and put them back on, and everything seems to be fine again now, made it home without another hiccup. I've got to pull the upper intake off and go through the wiring to see if I can find anything. And just to top things off, I was backed into. One of those 'ahhh, shit.' moments. I'm not going to go into the details, but it looks like the car will get new paint a lot sooner than I thought it would: It's not really driveable unless I punch out the fender. Car is dirty too, just did 1200km of rain. Oh, and I got engaged to my girlfriend of 4 years
