Curious what the main reason for doing this was? Different throttle body?

How much larger is the plenum volume over stock? (looks to be larger but not sure

)

here is a couple pics of the turbocharger. Its a 71mm billet compressor, Q trim turbine wheel, 4"in 3" out compressor housing with a T4 .96 a/r turbine housing.
