Sorry, but I gotta say this...

The build started as a really costly build then turned into a V8 conversion.

I dunno why you went with the cheapie crush bent exhaust system, cause the necked-down bends are just hurting exhaust flow.

I know I know but Kyle is right...no manderal bender anywhere. Not to mention the cost of labor I was gonna pay for using cut up peices of manderal bent pipe was gonna be upwards of 780.00(what he qouted me). The bends are not at all too severe, I will take a power hit to save the cash....I am a family man bro, money is very scarce when it comes to this car.

The entire car has been costly over the last 8 years lol, this swap was actually pretty cheap after all the money you rotary guys paid me for my old parts lol

in the v8's defense, i doubt it'll make any real difference lol

What I have read about a 3% decrease in power

Yeah, I hear yeah, and I've been sorta keeping up with this thread.
I know you've spent a LOT of money on the previous build, and I gotta hand it to you to get to this point.
Sorry to see you had to go through so much to get to this point.
I guess my point is that it's too bad you had to cut a little bit of corners to get it completed.

Nicely done Sean!

I would change ONLY two things

1) I would change would be to swap the MAF pipe. Meaning put the strait piece before the sensor, not after it.

2) I would've ditched the bdc bullshit irons, the bdc bullshit meth system, and stayed rotary

OK, 3 things.... If I were you I'd give me your rims

Thanks Brian I think it turned out alright

As for the MAF, last night I moved it towards the TB another 1.5" by moving my straight section of tubing into the 90* elbow( I had another 2" of space in there to move it). 3 to 4" of straight pipe before the MAF is within limits of Chevys requirements.

as for the rims.................never! Muhahahahahahahhaa

Well.........I take it back in to the exhaust shop tomorrow to have them remove the sections of crush bent exhaust.

I had no idea it was as big as a power reducer as it is. Should only run me another 160.00 for the replacement of the crush bends with good manderal bends I have.

Damn you ReTED

UPDATE:

Went today and weighed the FC. This weight includes me(190lbs) and 7 gallons of gas(42lbs total)..................

I am totally surprised! The company just got there scale calibrated last week and it only has a 5lb error varience WOW. I figured being the turboII model and having the LS1 would have made the car tip 3K easy.

I am happy

As for the FC, I have been driving it around like a mad man, getting some miles on the LS7 clutch and just seeing how the car reacts. I leave next thursday for the tune.
