Default Why only V8 discussions? No love for the I4/I6/B4/V6?

I have been thinking of doing a motor swap on an FD that I have. The thing is I am not planning to use a V8. I would like to show my progress on this forum. Maybe I am being silly, but maybe this section of the forum could read "Piston Conversions" or something similar.

Just my $.02.
Brandon

I have changed my mind more times than I can remember. Currently I am thinking of a 4g64 running on E85. I have most of the motor and trans components. Just need to get further along with the chassis build.

Hmm...that would definently be different. What ya going to use for the trans...Mazda B-series truck trans? Or mod your FD trans?

I have the Mazda truck bell housing mated to a TII trans right now. I can't see why a FD trans wouldn't fit this bell housing though.

No need to keep this thread, IMO.

Feel free to delete it, unless you believe it to be helpful.

I have seen a SR20DET motor in an FD in one of my Superstreet Mags from a few years back. I'll have to dig through my collection and get back to you.
