Fins on reman Water pump are different.

Nope thats not an FD waterpump...........its not a stamped steel piece of junk.

This is an aftermarket pump yes? The impellar is probably produced by the company, and that design is probably a *fits 486 different types of car* style. As in, it works as well the original and as well as it needs to, and we can get away without having to make new tooling for each of these pumps so we can sell them for reasonable prices.

Should work fine, perhaps better the original given the bullet center on the larger one should give better pump to housing clearance.

The tightness as addressed is normal.
