Get Your Compression Test Here!
For those that don't know, we have a digital rotary-specific compression tester. We DO NOT use the junk $20 generic autoparts store testers that some other shops use. This piece of equipment cost us a substantial amount of money, but is able to give very accurate results. Numbers are displayed for each rotor face at the same time. The model we use also corrects for the Mazda specified cranking rpm of 250. Great for determining the condition of a motor, the quality of a build, or for general piece of mind. We are offering this service for $100.

Honestly, I don't think Ive ever asked. I am pretty confident that they would find a way to mess something up in the process.

I can't remember the exact price, but I think I remember hearing the dealerships charge pretty heavily.

Just so you guys know, a customer of mine recently attempted to do a compression test with one of the crappy autoparts store gauges. He was getting readings in the 30s and suspected his motor was on its way out. We tested the car with our meter and it read 116-115-115 front and 104-105-105 rear. Not bad for a 90k mile + motor of unknown origin.
