Barn find 79 RX-7, asking $4000 OBRO
I have a barn find 1979 RX-7 with all original parts that I'm looking to sell. The goal of this car was to fix it up with my oldest and have it be his first car. We just don't have the time though, so we'd like to sell it to someone who knows what this car is about. It's got just over 38k for miles, it's been in N. Cali its entire life so there's no rust on it. The engine runs great in this thing as I drive it everyday to work (10 miles roughly).
The paint job is in the original color, our goal was to keep it original and presentable while working on it. We do have the back window shade/grate as well for it. About the only real issue with this vehicle right now is the main rear seal needs to be replaced, the driver seat also is cracked and would need to be reupholstered. All reasonable considering its age and that it was sitting for quite some time.
Our asking price is based on the fact we paid $3000 for it and have put about $2500 into it. Completely realize you never get out of it what you've invested, so that's why we're asking $4000 or best reasonable offer. Any questions please let me know.
