8 psi is pretty low in my opinion , webber for 500 is a little steep for our budget and i can drill the jets for more fuel if needed .rotary shack makes a turbo hat for the nikki so i would think it has been done before

I guess we have a communication problem , a BOX and a HAT are two different things ,and the least of my worries. I am looking for someone who has moded the nikki carb before for a turbo application. ( power valve , e tubes ,plugs ,etc) I really don"t need opinions ( not to be rude ) ,just some tech from someone who has done this before. thanks

boost prepping a nikki is easy. pull off the smog crap, make the secondaries mechanical, drill the acc pump squirter, jb weld up any open holes. done.. you will still need to jet the carb. what size is the turbo?

the distributor needs to be locked so the timing does not advance 30 degrees when your making boost. the timing should be set at 15 degrees advance total, more boost, less timing.. to drill out the accel squirter remove it and use a jet drill set to enlarge the holes. i will measure the one i use an get back to you ...
