Installing door speakers on 86 RX-7
So Im getting around to upgrading the stero system in my base model 86 RX-7. Sadly the current system in it right now has kind of been pieced together out of a bunch of diffrent components. One thing I want to do is install some door speakers. As of right now theres no sort of hole of anything in my door cover to sudgest that theres a place for any door speakers, but Im wondering if I take my door pannel off if there will be a spot on the metal itself to install a speaker in, and all Ill have to do is cut a hole in the door pannel. Has anyone done this before themselves, and if so how difficult of a project is it?

Been awhile since I took off a door panel. But S4 should have the metal frame for a speaker. I know the S5 had them in the map pocket area. While the S4 vert's had them above the arm rest. So shouldn't be so bad.
