Talking French RX8 Renesis Turbo Project

Hi everybody !

I'm a French Rotary fanatic and i plan to build an RX8 turbo who will be the more powerfull ever made in France
based on a Renesis engine (some people in France already make Turbo RX8 but with a 13B-REW swap) the only other
we have here is based on a Garett GTX35 Turbocharger and give 350whp, i plan to got 400+ on mine as the Esmerild
Racing turbo kit with ignition upgrade gives 414whp as you can see here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4uGk5K0ZTk)

I already know rotary engines, i have an RX7 FD3S with parralel twin turbo who gives 350whp 8 months ago and now i
have an RX7 FC3C Turbo II S5 Convertible, i'mù preparing for drift/track car. That's my first expérience on a Renesis
engine who is based on 13B engine like the rx7's but different ^^

I'm here to post my setup and got some advices about it and conseils, if something's wrong, or if other thing is better
to build a monster RX8.

I know the rotors on a Renesis engine gives 10.1 compression ratio because N/A engine and FD rotors gives 8.9 compression
ratio because the engine is turbo and the question is with the Renesis rotors fitted with the turbo kit, how many power
and turbo pressure can i put on the engine to stay safe ? Will i fit FD rotors to lower ratio compression and got more
power ?

The turbo kit come with a ECU with a basemap for the first start and i plan to bring the car when she's finish to
Dragon-Performance in UK for a remap cause nobody is rotary specialist in France and Dragon-Performance is like the
UK Re-Amemiya

The car is a Performance model and got 231whp and 6speed manual gearbox, how many horsepower the gearbox can support ?

About the spark plugs, i don't know what's the grade but for the setup, what will be better ?

About the oil, when i put the turbo on it i think to got Redline Oil in 10W60 is it good ? Anything will be better ?

For the gearbox and differential oil, what will be the best ?

What's the limit of power can i got with the injectors ?

You might want to rethink using that turbo kit or plan and budget to replace and fix a lot of it. There have also been issues where the components sold in the kit were fake. Another member found out his Tial wastegate was a fake.

Also, junk the tuning solution it came with. It is shit and will not work, you need to change the kit to a pull through systems and use the Cobb or the Apadtronic to tune it.

Let me make this clear, only one person I know of has ever gotten this kit to work well and reliably and he ended up fixing or replacing a lot of it. I would also rethink using Atkins seals in the engine, The quality control is poor and I know of two people who received brand new seals that were warped. My buddy did not realize they were warped until his freshly rebuilt engine did not start and we had to pull it out of the car and disassemble it again.

Also for plugs run:

NGK BUR9EQP (LEADING) and stock RX-8 NGK RE9BT (TRAILING)

^ +1 on rethinking that turbo kit.... Also the stock injectors are only good for about 300-310 whp. Your gearbox and transmission should handle the upped power levels..... Although 400whp is somewhat unrealistic
