Default Carb Manifolds

Although I won't be using a carb, but rather a DCOE- or IDA- style throttle body I figured this would be the best place to ask. I know there are a few readily available intake manifolds out there but I'm curious what everyone's using. So far everything I've seen for IDA's has different runner lengths between the front and rear rotors (for obvious reasons) and I haven't found any DCOE manifolds that fit my application ('86-88 turbo irons). If anyone went custom who built your manifold? I haven't been able to locate a fabricator yet!

i have manifolds that fit the 86-88 turbo lower manifolds, so you can install the sidedraft throttle body.

I guess I forgot to mention that I don't have the stock LIM. My car originally had a S5 n/a motor in it but now I'm doing a 4-port n/a build using S4 turbo irons. From what I've found none of the DCOE manifolds are equal length either.

so, you could use a factory turbo 2 lower manifold , with the wrap around upper
as far as i know, if you want an equal length intake manifold you will have to have a custom manifold fabbed up.
good power can be made with whats available out there tho....
are you looking to make maxium hp, or just have fun?

Yep, I could try to dig up a TII LIM somewhere. I have some guys looking into fab'ing a manifold for me but if that falls through I'll have to follow your advice for the time being.

Not looking for maximum HP - more like a useable HP range. I'd be happy with ~200 whp at 8000 RPM with decent torque in the 4000-8000 RPM range. I'm building the car for HPDE and eventual TT/PT use.
