Dress in layers or have extra layers to throw on. It maybe sunny and near 80
during the day and below freezing at night. Go over every inch of your car to make sure its up to the drive. Similiar to what you would do for DGRR. Its mountain driving and it will stress your cars fuel, ignition and suspension systems. Brakes are real important as well. Theres no cell reception at the campsite and just outside the camp area you can get cell signal (weak) on Verizon. Other cell services degrade from there. So if you have Sprint or some other vendor of the month you can expect no cell coverage. This also applies as we go through the mountains. The coverage will be spotty to none. Also note that this will cause your phone to drain its battery really fast, so bring a charger along. Bring two way radios if you have them and we can divvy them up so we can all talk if needs be.
