Greetings all ! Another new member ! Hopefully good advice too!
Hi my name is Garry . I'm 42 and live in canberra Australia ! I bought my first rotary (rx3 coupe) when I was 18 ! It was a rough old heap but gee the power it had compared to the standard 808 I traded it for was incredible ! I was hooked ! It lasted 12 months (10 more than expected ) then sold it Doh !!! Then at 25 I bought a 13b rx2 series 2 coupe with rx5 5sp and LSD ! It was awesome ! And bridgeported too , with microtech , so brap brap brap all day long and for about 100000 ks then blew an apex seal ! I did torment it though ! I wrecked it and made three times as much as it cost me ! Then came the eBay series 4 rx7 turbo coupe! What a fun car ! Mild turbo port and hiflo turbo and that's it ! Goes great BUT it's got a blow water seal from overheating ! Out it comes for rebuild ! Only got 40k on it so shouldn't cost too much ! Then four weeks ago I bought a series 4 rx7 convertible beast with a truck turbo and big porting ??? Which had also had full body resto ! It had $60000 spent on it with all the good gear tial and turbosmart and blitz bits and pieces ! An old man a week ago wrote it off for me and I've since found another stick standard softop to put all my high Po stuff on when it wears out ! It's. Only got 90000 original ks and once I put gp style bodykit with wide fenders and put the rest on I reckon with paint mine will be the toughest and nicest 7 softop in Canberra !!!! I'll have heaps of parts for sale soon too once I sort out what I want and don't ! The standard motor will go into the hardtop ! I've got a Lot of work and fun coming my way ! Self inflicted and I love it lol ! Bye for now ! Over and out !
