I'm running HEIs as ignitors and 2 FORD TFI coils and the sparks is excellent.
The HEIs are just standard 4 prong ones (DR100s) and the TFI coils are from the boneyard off of FORD F150 pickups. Its cheap and its a very good spark. I dropped trailing altogether. I have a write up on the other forum with details. If you need to run higher than 8K I would recommend HO HEI and better after market TFI coils or maybe these LS2 thingies folks are talking about here.

Yeah I like your set-up, I recommend the TFI coils. The coil referenced up top is pretty much the same thing just an aftermarket fancied-up version. In fact those coils actually come with the standard 2-spade style connection now, reason why my 2 older direct fires are screw-on terminals and the newer trailing is what i just mentioned.
