Congratulations to Sarah/BMIRacing 4 Rotor RX-8

Thanks to all who participated.

Interveiw questions and answers comming soon!

Q: Tell us about how you acquired this car?
A: We purchased the RX8 at an auction

Q: How did you first become interested in modified cars? Have you had any previously?
A: Adam started modifying cars in 1991, built his first Bridgeport in 1992 in his RX2, long story short we had a performance workshop back in Australia, and between Adam and myself we did fabrication, engine building, engine conversions, Aftermarket ECUs, Dyno Tuning etc. Previous cars include RX2 mods include 12A, 12A Bridgeport, 12A Turbo, 13B Street Port, 13B PP, 13b Turbo, RX4, RX3 Drag Car, 13B turbo Dragster, and Nissan Skyline with FJ20 Turbo

Q: Whats the biggest reason you chose a rotary powered car to modify?
A: The rotary engine is unique in its ability to make horsepower, and the 4 rotor is the hole grail of Mazda racing.

Q: Where did you get that 4 rotor motor ?
A:The eccentric shaft was sourced down under, the rest of the components we purchased, and we assembled the engine - we class it as a "Double Double Animal Style from In and Out"

Q: Tell us about the events your participate in and future events you are planning?
A: This year will be an exciting year for us are we will be competing in Formula Drift, and we will also be attending various events around the country - including Seven Stock, and any other rotary events that are on please let me know

Q: What do you enjoy most about your car?
A: The sound and it is very easy to drive

Q: Do you have any future plans for the car, or any car?
A: To build a second car (and third car)

Q: Any other hobbies besides cars?
A: Going to the park with our daughter

Q: Anyone you'd like to thank?
A:
