Are you sure you are going the proper direction with fuel?
I don't have much experience with GSL-SE's, but I assume they have a pulsation damper. The fuel should go from: 1) the pump 2) the filter 3) the pulsation damper 4) the rail and injectors 5) Pressure regulator 6) back to the fuel tank return Make sure that is the correct order, and you are not going straight to the regulator.

Check to see if the screw came out of the pulsation damper. Carefully take the plastic cover off, if the small screw came out of the diaphram plate it will be there. Have a pencil magnet or something like that when you take the cover off.
If it is out then replace it hand tighten. Do not replace cover Try it then. When it is running, tighten the screw again and replace cover. And it does help the have fuel going in the correct direction. |
