My 85 GS build
Figured I'd start my own little thread here as I am about to start building my little street/ autox car. The car is an 85 GS that I picked up off a local forum member. It needs carb work to run, but comes with a ton of extra parts. It has a Racing Beat catback (potentially) already on the car and the body is straight. It comes with an FC oil cooler and fuse block and a hatch full of parts.
So far I have sourced a GSL rear end (thanks Bryan, I promise Im coming to get it!), a Dellorto DHLA 48 with Weber soft mounts, Racing beat Manifolds, and a Carter external FP. That should be enough to get me started. Right now the carb is jetted for a 4 port 13B, so Ill have to rejet it and find a header before I can crank it. Total investment so far, including the car and all parts: only $1,100! Here are a couple pics:

Looks like a solid clean car to start with! And what a deal!
I like the FC steering wheel, it looks like it was supposed to be there!

That trailer looks very familiar.....is yours or a fellow named Andy? Regardless, looking good Nick. Glad to see you back in a rotary. Let me know if I can help you with any of it. I just picked up a bunch of stuff from Bryan on Saturday....coulda grabbed your rear setup.
