R100 clone owner from BC
Hey gang,
I haven't had a rotary for over 20 years. Had a bunch of RX2's but never an R100 I found this unmolested 1200 and have spent the last 1 1/2 years or so slowly turning it into an R100 clone. I have the full original R1oo dash and wheel now installed The R100 door panels, rear lights, E brake, grill and hood. It's not a 10A but I put in a full Bridgeport 12A with a 5 speed, had to make all new mounts. Had to really modify the engine crossmember and make a new trany mount plus lots more work so the shifter came out in the dash hole. Bought some used old school original race 14X7 Panasports to cram under there too. Just finished the front struts and am working on the rear shock set up. Brakes are 4 wheel disk. That's about it for the main stuff, but you know how it goes doing all the little things. I know it's nothing super fancy but I love it. Anyway, Good to be here Guys.
