AWD subaru powered fd?
PLEASE REMEMBER RECLAIMER AUTO IS ABOUT THE LOVE OF CARS..........
That being said I am excited to announce the fd completion is the end of summer! after doing much research I have found that there has only been a first and second generation rx7 to be converted to all wheel drive. This was also done in the eighties with Audi parts and was more of a four wheel drive high set up then a actual all active all wheel drive system. Although the rotary is new, the car is great, it's a dead world and when the irons crack as all Rew irons do, I will do this anyways. So , preemptive strike! I am starting the first ever AWD Subaru Ej257 FD3S build. Car: 1995 rhd rx7 Bn sports blister widebody Works 18x13.5 rims Pretty much everything aftermarket suspension, brakes and Apexi n1 exhaust. Subaru wrx sti Ej257 turbo. RayJay turbo, fmic, Hks wastegate, Hks bov, custom downpipe. 5speed with extended shift linkage. Complete hub conversion to front. Sub frame modified to fit Subaru front end. This build has been choosen as the ls and 2jz is overdone and over priced. The Nissan selection is dwindling, Volvo has non desirable trans for this application, I am not knowledgeable of M series motors and I'm not a merc or Audi fan. Other motors like the small v8 ( Ford 4.6, Toyota 1uzfe Ect) were considered but trans mods and dimensions showed it to be a problem and better to go ls. The weight ratio as well as displacement is better than stock and much better than the 2jz swap. The ls falls in the middle of it all.... 700lbs 2jz with trans, 20% more weight in front of struts. 555lbs ls/t56 combo. Lighter than the stock Rew set up by 150lbs centered on struts. 387lbs Ej20 series with trans. 15% in front of struts. I looked at hundreds of possibilities and this is the most promising. And exciting! Tips and advise are always welcome. Follow this build on face book at https://m.facebook.com/ReclaimerAutopage?ref=bookmark Or reclaimer auto site at www.reclaimerauto.com |

RCC Loves Me Not You

I've thought about an FD being AWD before and wondered how cool it would be, and while I like boxer engines, I LOVE the rotary. And since I figured it would cost an insane amount of money to make a rotary work with AWD, I gave up on that idea pretty quick lol.

Um.... Lol..... No, I was I'm classic imports, the name changed due to it limiting me to imports. I choose a better name. Nothing more.
Have I been banned , no. Has my business ever, no. Was my first personal rx7club (joemaddox) account banned for not signing up to be vendor, yes.... Have I built cars for over ten years and had a single bad transaction. Yes. Has any shop with ten years under its belt have a perfect record. No. Are we done with your wanting to talk about Jared. Yes. Anyways. I am planning on using the entire Subaru front subframe. It will be a bit of work to fab it up but after a few mock ups it's looking like it's almost made to be! I am planning on having the awd functioning the same as the wrx I pulled it from. I will be posting pics in a few. |

Ok, so you say this user is banned . Yet here I am.
You say I'm classic imports was banned yet link a post showing they are not.... Reclaimer auto is Joe Maddox's business. It started as rotary workz, it was a name a person picked, it's also a dozen others names. It was changed. Jm classic imports had most thinking I only did imports. It was changed to reclaimer auto. My user, joemaddox on the evil club was never in trouble for bad sales. That user got banned years before I argued with a moderator about selling through others profiles. He used Jared to win that argument by saying it would make it impossible to sell then. You have shown zero correct facts and its clear you are just spitting out high school drama. If Jared would like to respond here or on the comments of the video I would love to discuss the motor he abandoned.
