Default What kind of oil do you use?

Just curious on what kind of oil people use and why for there rx-7? and also does it really matter what kind of anti-freeze to use?

For my Wankel's: Castrol gtx 10w30.
For pre-mix: Marine 2-stroke oil from Walmart, usually in a blue bottle. Hey its cheap. :shrugs shoulders:

^ +1 same setup. I've owned numerous 7s. I only run Castrol GTX. Usually a 10w30, but if its a little smokey I put some 20w50 in it...

I also use the TCW3 blue bottle from wal-mart...

When I do my own oil change: Castrol GTX 10W-30
When I don't do my own oil change: Anything 10W-30 that NOT synthetic.

You can see the FSM and owner's manual for the correct oil weigh, based on the ambient temps your car will see.
