Help finding Mazda Part Numbers
So I am rebuilding my engine. I wanted to know If there is a list of rebuild parts. I am on the Mazdaspeed parts program, good discounts, and I am having a hard time finding the numbers I need. Since sometimes they list 3 to 4 part numbers for the same item and a lacking description, but the prices are different. I have used Atkins Rotary for the side seals P/N and the springs. The Mazdaspeed site gives me a 404 error for the rotary rebuild list. on my work computer and home computer. right now I am looking for apex springs.

Might not be up-to-date, but the parts counters should be able to cross-reference them for newest #'s. -Ted |

Another good thing to check out is a Mazda OEM parts catalog. I know www.re4life.com has a bunch of 'em in the tech section.

Another approach that you can use is looking up the part on the MazdaTrix website, and use this little decoding algorithm to convert MT's part number into Mazda's OEM part #
If MT Part # = XX-YYYY-ZZZZ, then the Mazda OEM # = ZZZZ-XX-YYYY Example: MT # 13-2200-N370 (Turbo inlet duct, 89-91 FC) translates to Mazda part # N370-13-220 (same part) In this case, the last digit in the YYYY series was a zero, so just we ignore it. Normally this digit will be a letter, which signifies some Mazda revisions to that part (A, B, C, etc). If it's any number OTHER than zero, include it as if it was a letter. |

I also use TascaParts.com to help look up parts. I take the part numbers from the Mazdaspeed website and look them up. There are typically multiple part numbers due to multiple vendors supplying the part. Sometimes the old part numbers are so old they no longer are even in the current system with superseded numbers. At least one of the part numbers listed should hit against Tasca's site.
