Default How to use New Posts?

When I click on New Posts, I get a list. There may be some that I do not want to read. How do I mark the whole list read so when I click on New Posts again, I don't see them, only the posts since I marked them read?

Possible? It is in most forums.

Just hit it and if the same stuff is there, you've read it.

for me posts of a certain age show up on that list... even if I have seen them before. After a while they just drop off. If they are new since i've looked at the list then they will be in bold. Once they've been "seen" on the new post list, they aren't bold anymore. Sometimes there is a delay to this happening (can't just refresh). Whether there is an option to change this I do not know as I have never looked.
