Default Clutch issues.

Hi 1st post on this site, I have been on that other one for a few years.
I beileve My clutch is slipping at about 6k when I am WOT and the turbo is spooled. I am running about 8 to 9psi on my S4 JDM swapped motor, I have a full driveline swap but 4 lugs. I was having issues with a False disengagement, where the car will still move with the pedal to the floor. I adjusted the clutch pedal which seemed to fix the problem. However I am not sure if the clutch is crap or I adjusted the pedal to far. I do have a New clutch( its a puck clutch) it put but I want to find the problem before I take the car apart.

If it's a stock clutch then it could just be slipping from the power. Before I rebuilt my '87 TII's motor I was running about the same boost and it did the same thing and just kept getting worse (the clutch was just too worn out to support a little extra power). You could try adjusting the clutch pedal again, that's probably about the only thing you could do... If that doesn't help it then you should probably just dig into installing the new clutch. btw do you really want a puck clutch for the street? there are plenty of beefier clutches that will grab fine, but not go "nothing nothing nothing OMG WHEELSPIN"

You can do a quickie clutch test by pulling the handbrake and shifting into 4th gear...
With the car sitting still, try and engage the clutch with the handbrake on and modulating the gas pedal.

If the engine tries to die at every try, the clutch might still be okay.
If it smells funny, it's on it's way out.
If you can get the engine to rev a little while engaging the clutch like this, the clutch is on it's way out.

Side note, sometimes the clutch needs to be hot to slip, so doing this when the car is dead cold might not show signs of a slipping clutch.

The cltuch in there is An Ebay clutch it is suppose to be stronger then stock. I thought I would try the puck clutch. Does anyone know the factory recommend clutch adjustment? I will try these tests.

I don't trust "eBay" clutches.
I recommend ACT.

I cannot find an "upgrade" clutch kit for the FC turbo with a Google search.
If such a beast doesn't exist, I assume it's an "stock OEM replacement".
This means that it cannot handle significant power increases over stock.
