Default new guy from florida!!

hello fellow rotarheads!! my name is peter and i am a very new guy to the rotary game...

i just bought this 1981 starlet with a 13b..its a long story....

the guy i bought this car from new nothing about the car at all.. i took a chance because i got a smokeing price on this car,and have always loved rotarys!!!

this car has a 13b turbo motor that has had the turbo removed and a racing beat intake with holly carb installed..

the car does start and run fairly well just not to the potential of what it could be..

im trying to decide what route i will be taking on this engine.. eather add a turbo and stand alone fi or make it a high compression na bridgeport..

and suggestions will be greatly apreceated!!!

i just bought this car a couple days ago and still have to go threw it and figure out al the other specs on it, such as the rear end i dont know what it is?? if any one has an idea from the pic please let me know what your thinking..

its got some rust and some issues but its great and i love it!! i hope to have it going pretty good soon, but first lots and lots of resurch!!!

heres some pics hope you like!!

There is a quirky little rotary shop in Port St. Lucie on Biltmore Road called JR Fabrication. He is always elbow deep in some sort of wild project. It would be worth your time to stop by and talk with him. See what he has shaking and what he can suggest to you.

1720 SW Biltmore St. Port St. Lucie, Fl 34984 772-343-0510

Looks like a fun car!! Enjoy it!

I would deffinatly find a good turbo and throw one back on there, I had a friend with a S5 Vert with the "stock" Turbo-II motor with a few mods and it was quite quick. Though if you wanted to spend the money I've heard lots of good stuff about the new Borg-Warner Dual Scrool Turbos, you oculd pop one on for a few thousand.

your not to far away so if you are up to it you should come to our annual rotary meet.

http://rotarycarclub.com/rotary_foru...ad.php?t=14758

we usually have 50-70 cars out there so if you love rotary's, you shoudl really make it a point of making out there.
