rear end noise
I just installed a 83 gsl rear end into my 82. Ive noticed when i make sharp slow right turns on occasion it feels like the right rear wheel is kinda stuttering and dragging.. Is that just teh LSD chattering? it only does it on right turns.. my next thing ill do is im going to replace the diff fluid and see if that helps. Any suggestions on fluid type? Any other opinions on what is the issue?

it sounds to me like lsd rear chatter. change your fluid to red line fluid I think its gl-4 fluid but I'm not 100% sure check your owners manual or service book. I just used the redline with now lsd additive, I have used it in the diff for over 8 yrs and it see a lot of track time and auto-xing. goood luck hope it helps.

Yeah, I agree with the chatter diagnosis. I used Lucas in mine, better than Royal Purple.
