78 glc rew build wiring help.
Doing a rew auto matic in a glc. Got the motor in yesterday with no clearance issues. The starter was tricky against the steering box. It's all good. Used a turbo2 distributor to compensate for the removal of the 2 sensors on the re front cover. used the gsl-se front cover and oil pan.Wondering if anyone has done this and could use some wiring help.
getting a turbo manifold made as we speak to run 1 turbo.Planning on using a stock 93 alternator beefed up to 150 amps if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. Will be posting pics and step by step of the build. |

The quest for more torque

You are using a crank angle sensor? (TIIs did not use a distributer).
I don't think that a TII CAS will wok with the RE fuel injection. You will probably need a standalone. If so, you will just use the wiring instructions for the standalone. Please feel free to ask any specific questions, as there is a lot of rotary experience to be found here. (It is difficult to explain the entire process.)
