redrilling hubs

I have been trying to find some 4x110 wheels and am tired of looking. I was thinking about taking my hubs, disks, and drums in to a local cnc machine shop that does very precise work and haveing them redrill everything for 4x100. This wouldnt be a permanate solution but would let me have some nice wheels till I get my 8.8" rear end and bolt patteren swap ready. Lets hear some opinions!

Why not just buy a set of 4x100 to 4x114.3 or 4x100 to 5x114.3 wheel adapters. I have seen them on ebay & a few other sites.

Heck, discount tire direct has 15 x 7 wheels with the 4 x 110 bolt pattern for around $350-400/set shipped. Usually have them in stock, too.... Just need to get some screw in studs, as the stock (junk) lugs won't work with these wheels.
Granted, they only have one style and color available, but they fit well and look nice. I have a set in storage for backup, in case I decide to take off my other 15's......

Due to the fact that for some odd and unknown reason I am dying to run Sportmax 002's in 16x8 0 offset on my car and with 1" wheel spacers there is no way to stuff those wheels under my car even with the ZG flares that I am ordering.

I think Enkei is re-introducing the Enkei 92's or you could get a set of old ones if you like meshies.

I plan on redrilling the hubs on my first gen with a 3rd gen motor unless I sell it before I get that far with it .I would redrill before using adapters .

Above you said 16x8 0 offset, 15x8 should be easier to find.

I meant to say 15x8, but both are a stock size that alot of places either have or can get, I was thinking about 16's but 15's will end up giving the car a more period correct look and its a little cheaper to 15's.

Yeah I agree the 15's would give a good look to the car.

unfortunately if you want aggressive offset you need to spend big money on some custom fitment applications wheel companies that offer a wide variety of offsets.

You could just go with the ReSpeed 5 lug conversion.
