NC Mountain drive

Hello all, this is last minute but I figured I would pass the word. this Saturday9/4/2010, there is a group of Rx7's meeting up in the Charlotte area. The meeting spot is actually the Concord Mills shopping mall. I believe in the back parking lot area by the Go-carts.

The tentative time is meet at 11:00 A.M. Leave shorty after and head to Little Switzerland. We will be getting there via I85 to HWY 321. Take that up to I 40. West to exit 86. Take HWY226 North to 226A. From there we head up the very twisty 226A.

Once at the top( Little Switzerland) the plan is to stop and have late lunch at the Switzerland Inn. After lunch, head out on the Blue Ridge Parkway to take some nice photos of the cars and people. Blast back around the roads and head homeward for a evening arrival.

Anyone is welcome to come play. Safe driving rules apply. No "racing" up the hill or down. ( This is a serious road with SERIOUS consequences if you go wrong.

Drive your own pace, don't try to keep up with someone faster or keep them behind you.( not really anyplace to pass anyhow)

this should happen. I have been trying to get people together here from the local group, and they finally texted me tonight. So, I guess I will say that for sure, I will be at the CC Mills center at 11:00 A.M.

damn it!!! i'm going to a meet in brevard off 276... if i didnt' have some business to discuss with some people who will be there, i would ditcht hat and meet up with you guys...

Convince them to come up your way Tray.

Would be fun having a "localer than I" there to show more roads.

Are you still planning to run with Tim and I on Tuesday?

hey man, had a good time on the little drive today... hate that you guys wanted to get back so early... anyway, if you wouldn't mind to PM me the forum names of the other guys, that would be great...
