Registration will only be open until Tuesday, June 1st at 8 PM. This event will take place on June 6th, 2010. The event will be hosted at Edmonton Garrison / CFB Namao. Our events are open to everyone who wishes to participate. The only requirements are a vehicle which will pass our tech inspection and a Snell2000 or greater certified helmet. DOT only helmets will not be allowed. The registration fee for this event will be: - $30.00 for members of WCMA affiliated clubs - $40.00 for non members. - Volunteers and spectators are free of charge. Alternatively, send an email to mctinkerson@gmail.com Please include: - Your full name - The names of your guest - Year / Make / Model / Color / License Plate number / VIN of the vehicle you will be entering. - Year / Make / Model / Color / License Plate number / VIN of any other vehicle/tow vehicle. Volunteers, please use the email method. Remember, anyone who wishes to attend must be on my entrance list before the deadline, otherwise you will not be allowed onto the taxiway! No exceptions. For those who haven’t pre paid, please remember to bring the exact fee in cash to the event. Registration closes on Tuesday, June 1st. On the day of the event, try to arrive on Base by 09:00 for registration and the Tech Inspection. The volunteer meeting will be at the Tim Hortons (16039 97 St NW) @ 07:30 The schedule will look something like this: 9:00 - 9:30 registration (can not get inspected with out registration) 9:15 - 9:50 tech inspection 9:50 - 10:00 driver's meeting (mandatory to attend, for everyone) 10:00 - 2 lap course drive (parade style) 10:15 - first car on track 12:15 - 12:45 lunch 12:45 - track changes 13:00 - car on track 15:30 - last car on track 15:32 - track tear down 16:00 - clean up and exit Registration involves signing our insurance waiver. Tech involves you and/or us making sure the car is actually safe to drive on the track. This involves: -Battery Tie Down -Fluid Leaks -Wheel Bearing Play -Tire Condition -Hub Caps/Trim Rings Off -Static Brake Test -Loose Articles Removed -Seat Belt Condition & Anchors -Snell 2000 or Greater Helmet (We have 2 loaners) Once every one is teched then we'll go through the driver meeting, laying down the law and clarifying any questions.
