Default New to the site

Wazz sup everyone. The names wally but most people call me WOLF or REAPER cause of my build up of a on/off 06 scion xb called THE REAPER. i'm also on clubxb.com. I'm living here in daytona florida also looking for some rotary clubs out here to chill with. as for my xb build Which 1offrides.com they will be building my chassis and the wide body kit " and no not that crappy square kit you prob see around or online. this build up is and will be for show and go! Which is also why i joined y'alls group here cause the of the motor that we are dropping in her i'll be using the 13b rotary non turbo at first. the motor has been built up from owner of 1offrides. It's just under 350 hp with a 5 speed trans. I had an old 2gen rx7 about 12 years ago i got from a friend that used to drag race it sorry i have no pics of her too long ago. anyway i'm looking on building my first 13b but i want lots a hp for my next build. now i know this is a rotary club site & no i dont own one anymore but y'all have the know how to build these badd a$$ motors that i love. if y'all want to know anything else let me know and hopefully noone fell asleep reading all this lol

Welcome to the club. It sounds like your building a very interesting ride. Is your engine builder claiming 350hp out of a N/A 13b?

Whats the n/a mean? the motor is coming out of little drag car that got totaled. I think it was a old toyota wagon. and yes as for the build up i dont like coping others , but when its a scion xb its just not that easy to copy because they all do the same to them. For one thing theres only so many body kits for them "that all look the same" they don't have any motor swap kits as of yet. So i'm taking mine in a hole different new direction with a full 13b motor swap, old style rat rod front 6" chopped roof, full chassis to RWD and a on/off custom wide body kit "testarossa style" i'll post one of the renderings for it

n/a=naturally aspirated
I guess if its PP drag racing engine. I hear that the driveability of a PP13b is rather rough. But if it's show car then you don't have to worry about that.

Have fun.

Although I do have my doubts about 350hp for a non-turbo. Also I have my doubts about putting that into an xB.

Place your bets.

Most people say the same thing but then again i like to prove anything can be done. my bud on cardoman.com has his scion xb with a small block in it. as for the rotary putting out a full 350 hp thats just what he says its putting out the motor is all port and polished it has a 650cfm demon carb it's been built up for street and drags. as for it not having turbo thats only going to be so i can used to the new swap and how it and the new chassis handles.i dont mind turbo's but i'd rather have all motor if it drops down the hp so be it i dont need a full 350 hp lol but anything is better then the stock 105 hp this thing comes with. yes it's going to be for show but also go to! I cant build no trailer queen i have to drive it.

I think the problem is what I and others are saying, if it is a Peripheral Port engine, there is little chance of it being streetable. If the port is too large, the engine must idle way high, which is annoying to people around you since they are also LOUD as shit. Clutching is also real fun!

Not being a hater, I hope it gets built. I am not however a fan of the body modifications.

Good luck.

Welcome aboard. I'm thinking that you meant the original motor you were going to get was putting out 350 with a turbo, but you were going to install it without the turbo. Is that right? Otherwise, it would be damn difficult (read impossible?) to get a streetable rotary naturally aspirated putting out that kind of power.

Anyway, enough about that. Your car looks like a very interesting project, almost reminds me of the Adams Family's car in a way.

Where are you from?
