DGRR is a must ever since the first time I attended 3 years ago! I will say this, I personally have had better experiences @ Nantahala Village as I don't really care to brush my teeth w/ water that has dirt deposits in it, etc. lol.
Cabins are a lot nicer in my opinion and you are right there @ that BP gas station that has decently priced gas. Parking lot is pretty sick to hold the event in and is a nice place to walk around and see every car there. But I liked the Dam last year and the big overflow parking lot hangout as well. Good times regardless and I am already committed to this no matter what. I just wanna cruise the gap w/ friends, talk cars, and take pictures!

Fontana would not be trailer friendly just for the drive to get to it. They might have the space once your there, but for you, I'd vote Natahala. When it goes to 1 lane roads, you got like 3 turns to make, no problem. Fontana is like 10 miles of dragon style roads, no fun to pull a toy hauler through.

I agree with darthrotary... There are two way to get to Fontana and both directions aren't trailer friendly..
Around Oct, I'll decide where and when. I know some of you need at least 6 months in advance to let your work know. But it will be 2nd or 3rd weekend in April... If you need to know around when.. PHIL

Snow is definitely a concern! I live in Lansing, MI, and my RX-8 will never see snow or salt. I'm hoping to come to DGRR in 2010. It would suck if was registered and paid up, but couldn't come due to bad weather (or, I had to come in my Mazda3!).

Well i don't really want to drive a full PP (or 20b) FD for 14hrs and same for the rx3(s) we bringing. Plus big suv is way more comfortable to drive that distance and family coming with me. |

pffffffffft, we ended up going 17 hrs damn close to strait with full racing seats, harnesses and a full gallon of redbull. Wait....... that's right, I did need a 2.5 hr cat nap in the racing seat while someone else drove. Had to doze after being up for 44.5 hrs strait. For '10 I'm thinking about a bladder tank full of Redbull in a cooler with a little straw going up to the shoulder harness
I'll be there without a doubt, 2nd or 3rd w/e in April works best for me.
