Well, the gifts were from Holly's work of sweet talking her work into contributing... and it was a "last min" decision to send them home with the folks who drove the furthest... never know, maybe next year we'll hand out "most repeat performance" gifts and "shortest drive"... i dont know, i tend to live in the moment and go with what ever might work...

Oh, just an update for those that were standing around helping to troubleshoot my malfunctioning blow off valve:
One of my first thoughts turned out to be right. Higher altitude results in the car drawing less vacuum. The Tial requires a certain amount of vacuum to overcome the spring inside so it can operate properly. As I went further down the mountain, the better it worked. Once I was back at my "normal" altitude, the BOV operates flawlessly. Damned science... |
