I just installed my prosport boost gauge, but i had some issues with the clips from the sender to the gauge. It was loose in the back of the gauge and won't lock in tight. I got it working, but it was a less-than-elegant solution. I just didn't want to ship it back and hten have to wait for a new one.

OK, so this is a Premium series boost gauge? because the opening is small on the back of the gauge it may need a small screwdriver to push the clip all the way on till it locks in place. Can you send us a picture directly to our email sales@prosportgauges.com

I just replaced all my gauges with Premium Prosport gauges. I have to say, install was VERY simple if you are doing multiple Prosport Premium. I'll post pics later when I get my car back from the custom shop.
Oh, and the customer service is TOP NOTCH with Prosport gauges!

+1 for Prosport. I broke the little clip that plugs into the gauge installing mine a couple years ago, went down to the office and they gave me a new one.
Only issue i've had is that the boost gauge seems to read 1-1.5 psi low,and rarely sits at 0, but I mounted the sender in the engine bay in the pass side cornor so perhaps I need to relocate it or get another sender....or both. |

Do you live at a high elevation above sea level (i.e., Denver/mountains)? If so, that may explain the 1~1.5 psi lower readings. Your gauge is reading absolute pressure, so as you go up in elevation air is less dense and ambient pressure goes down. If your gauges were calibrated at sea level (i.e., reads 0 when engine isn't running & gauge is powered up), you can expect them to read less than 0 (a little vacuum) when you at a higher elevation, and all boost #'s would be lower as well.
