i know they have one ceramic coating, maybe I just don't fully understand what constitutes ceramic. But I believe the coatings I have are different. They are a composite coating with includes gold, and some other oil shedding materials.
Just for a basic comparison, a DP will typically cost around 200-300 to get coated. I do not go directly to Polydyn so it may be different to go that route. |

Now that I have the T04E, my 3.5" to 2.5" exhaust is useless. It's choking up my spool time and creating unnecessary back pressure. I changed to a 3.5" midpipe where the Magnaflo used to be, and then split to two 2.5" pipes with Apexi mufflers on the tips. It changes the whole stance of my car and makes it look much more aggressive. The only down side is, it's much louder too.
I know she's a bit dusty. She's been hanging out at the shop for too long. Anyway, I found the last pieces for my complete Series 5 interior swap. The rubber S5 radio surround really finishes off the dash. I've got to do a little work to get the idiot surround to fit with an S4 idiot cluster. But the rear hatch cover really sells the conversion!! I was so stoked to get this for $15!!!!!! It's in great shape, but needs just one stud on the passenger side to hold it in place. |

nice interior...everyone wants a complete black interior. i had to go through 2 10th AE's to get my complete black s4 interior. i'm jealous of your throttle cable configuration.

the throttle is easy to do.
It took a while to get everything together for the interior. I was lucky to get the hatch cover for so cheap. Now I just need to clean it up. There are a couple parts I need to paint still. The demister vents, passenger A-pillar, ash tray (just dirty). And a couple parts I need to retro fit. The S5 trim pieces in the rear (with the lights) don't match up. It will take a little extra work to get them mounted and to light up. |

I decided to upgrade the rest of the fuel system now. Running the Aeromotive FPR and AN fittings to the rails. Staying in series now to save money, but will eventually run parallel.

Fuel system is just about there. I went with the Aeromotive Fuel Pressure regulator and an running -6 fuel lines to the rails. I will be running -8 to the tank next, and then changing the fuel rails to run in parallel. Now I will be able to tell if there is an issue with the fuel pressure at a glance... Finally. This could've saved me a lot of guess work earlier. |

Video Time! Can I not embed video on this board?
Go HERE to see the vids. Some video comparison of the Apexi N1 dual exhaust with and without muffled tips. Here is what the new exhaust set up sounds like with the muffled tips in. A little 'tin' sound too it. <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i103.photobucket.com/flash/player.swf?file=http://vid103.photobucket.com/albums/m130/stylEmon/MOV04492.flv"></embed> Here is without the tips... much more bass. <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i103.photobucket.com/flash/player.swf?file=http://vid103.photobucket.com/albums/m130/stylEmon/MOV04493.flv"></embed> A little 2nd gear pull. <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i103.photobucket.com/flash/player.swf?file=http://vid103.photobucket.com/albums/m130/stylEmon/MOV04496.flv"></embed> Look when you hear the wastegate open, the car shoots off pretty quick. <embed width="448" height="361" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" src="http://i103.photobucket.com/flash/player.swf?file=http://vid103.photobucket.com/albums/m130/stylEmon/MOV04495.flv"></embed>
