so i just took a closer look at the picture of you bumper installed... it looks like the shine bumber you have is made to go over the bottom half of the stock fenders so you dont have to cut them?

Yeah, that's right. That's why I welded the brackets on the bottom of my fenders, to keep the bumper in place. No cutting required, but there is a lot of creative mounting that needs to be addressed

I tried not to think about what I was actually doing until it was already done. Making the cut was the easy part. The hard part will be venting it and making it look good. I should've done it to my steelie POS..... oh well. I have access to the GK hood now, actually we all do. Check out the aftermkt hood thread

So I FINALLY got the engine in tonight. My original mani was toast, or so I thought. I asked a buddy to send his old one to me so I could use it. He had some family problems so he never sent it and I was kinda forced to get mine back up to snuff. When she went lean on the dyno the mani got so damn hot that every single stud warped. The three fittings that I had installed for the EMAP, and the EGT's were basically welded to the mani. Took the machine shop three days to get all the fittings out, redrill and retap, and pull out two busted studs and heli-coil them. I strait edged the mani and the turbo's and then seemed fine so we'll see what happens when she fires....... hopefully tuesday at this point. Still planning on being on the dyno late saturday the first......... hint hint Bill

man, a little too much info on the last one but I'm still jealous of your garage and end results with the FC. Keep it up man, love the amount of work that went into the actual engine/accessories to ensure you know what's happening at all times.

Thanks man. The sensors are great to have. For example, when engine #4 lost a rotor all I had to do is look at the EGT's to find the dead soldier.

So ah................. what's up with the new sig?
