Short shifter or Short Throw shifter Ted?

You know there is a difference, and need to be specific.

Also, all the points you make (other than the sequential set-up) can be traced back to driver error.

The point of a short throw shifter is not to shift faster, but lessen the distance the shifter needs to physically move to change gears.

Also, just as a follow up on this, I found the bushing, a company called MMR makes it:

Interesting, does anyone know if this bushing will fit in an S4 tranny? My Short throw rattles a bit and this would be a quick, painless fix.

as far as I know, that bushing is the same, because I just replaced bushings on my friends S4 and my S5, and the hole looked exactly the same down there.
