I like the i/c setup a lot with the turbo getting plenty of air also. Have you ran into any issues with running a non vented hood? and also did you cut your undertray? I plan to go vmount this year but not if I need to run a different hood.... let me know!

It is not a v-mount IC. That is a stock mount set-up so it suffers from heat soak when at rest. Even a vented hood won't help that.
I plan to convert to v-mount when I change to a Mazdaspeed GTC nose and hood. V-mount works well without a vented hood but it won't hurt. The most efficient v-mount will have a duct from the IC core face to the hood vent. Jack |
